We trace our roots back to 1982, when Scott Griffiths started Asset Evolution Consulting, a tax and accounting firm.
The mission was to maximize the financial well-being of anyone who entrusted him with their financial affairs. Asset Evolution Consulting built its business upon that philosophy and goal.
During the late 1990s, many clients had financial situations that were becoming more complex. As a trusted advisor, Asset Evolution Consulting was increasingly approached for financial advice that was unrelated to taxes or accounting. Asset Evolution was born out of those clients' needs.
In 1995, Asset Evolution was founded in order to provide comprehensive financial planning and objective investment advice. Certified Financial Planners (CFPs) were brought onto the team to serve our client's financial planning needs.

Asset Evolution was officially formed on November 11th 1995 by four colleagues who had worked together with Scott Griffiths at Asset Evolution Consulting, a tax and accounting firm. They chose the name "Asset Evolution" as it embodied the aspirational culture of what they hoped to achieve, one of combined wisdom, teamwork and collective expertise.
This year marked our decision to focus entirely on financial planning and objective investment advice. Prior to this we had worked in a number of different sectors, but this focus gave us the opportunity to explore our true potential in providing services that could make a real difference to people's lives.
Our office in Toowoomba were unexpectedly sold to a new owner so we had to set about finding a new home. As we continued to grow our staff, later that year we moved into our current office space in Brisbane.
On November 11th 2018, we celebrated our 20th birthday. We are proud to be where we are today and proud to celebrate 20 years of teamwork. We are a boutique firm and we thrive on building long-term relationships with our clients. Our process is an opportunity for us to get to know our clients exceptionally well.
